Startmate – Applications are now open!

by on

Applications for the inaugural wave of Startmate are now open.

Startmate is a group of startup executives offering mentorship and seed financing to founders of Internet and Software businesses based in Australia. The first Startmate program will kick off January 2011 in Sydney.

The three month program offers a $25,000 investment, mentorship from more than 20 successful founders, sage legal counsel and a two week trip to Silicon Valley. At the conclusion of the program there are two demo days, one in Sydney and one in Silicon Valley, where you present in front of early stage investors.

Applications close at the end of November. The next step will be a final round of interviews with a focus on lean startup principles and from here the first five startups will be chosen.

If you have any questions about the applications or your individual situation, please email Niki Scevak - hello@startmate.com.au

Also be sure to join the mailing list to stay in touch.

If you want to be a part of the first Startmate program, apply here.
